My entry to the Northern Illustration Prize 2023, the theme of the contest: The Sea.
A silent witness of human history, the Sea keeps many memories of what we did and what we were through different eras. Below the surface, barely touched by the sunlight, we find mementos of ancient mythology, forgotten lifestyles, incredible travels and tormented wars. Bits and pieces of a shared past, where we can dive to feel connected again.
